Definitely a statement! Go for it, prom is all about being creative and wearing whatever dress you love, whether that be simple LBD or a crazy flashy dress like this

Don't like this as much as the gray. The shoulders are a little slouchy. But aly's idea spuds awesome!

I like the top, I'd pair it with bottoms that don't have pockets or have very small, close pockets to keep it smooth

They have a pair at target almost exactly like the kohl's pair, and cheaper. Maybe I'll have a look at those. Mostly I'm trying to decide between the woven or plain.
