I'd definitely wear it with skinny jeans so ignore the skirt

FoodiewithFashion It's way too plain, even for a casual shirt.
blaze I want to like it, but there's something odd in the fit and I don't like the color. It might be cuter sleeveless.

Erika Stewart not loving it. Since it's supposed to look like the back of a pair of jeans, I keep thinking it looks too flat.
llgreen I like the other jean skirt better!
agree?

MusingsofaChick the dress looks too big on you, and as others have commented, the belt isn't working.
k_leee21 Go for a thin braided belt, if you have one. maybe a silver..vera wang has a great one. Pair it with some heels that somewhat match the belt. Go whimsy with the dress. the black is too dark, and the belt is too much. Summer dress with winter belt=no
lovebug24 the pocket on the outside is huge for the size of the bag and the hardware makes it look outdated
The Queen of Non Sequiturs It's a bit plain, a good work purse, I suppose. However, I would wear something a bit more fun for an evening out.

lovebug24 i dont like the shirt i think there could be a more flattering shape
stillwater I like the buttons.
the brown straps tie around the ankle.

angie_d24 ewww u need new shoes... this doesnt scream sexy in any way!

Blondejeannette I would say somewhere nice. I don't like the shorts with them tho
blondeinboots I would wear it with a high waisted skirt and cardigan to show off the lacy-ness of the top of the shirt.
Time to part ways? Bought a while ago - 25 now. Where to wear them?

the straps wrap around the ankle. Nine West a few years ago.

froofroo They're fine, but only wear them w/ pants or tights the same color as ankle strapes shorten the legs. Unless you are tall that is.
Blue I like the heel, but would only want to wear these with pants because of the ankle strap (unless you have really long legs and can get away with it).

michellesampson definitely, it would look great with black flats
psm look nice to me

kelseyjoye I don't think that shirt is doing much for you :/ I would compare it to chopping a toilet paper roll in half and sliding it on to a barbie to use as her shirt.
akaprincess cute enough but not with those shorts. It make your body look out of proportion
currently temping at a financial hedge fund - filling in for the secretary...have been there for about 2 weeks so it's not like this is 1st day or anything. but is this too casual?
alluneedislove no, but there is too much black on top. i love the shirt though!!! maybe add a strand of pearls or necklace?
Starshine1221 Not too bad but adding a white or colored cardigan will help it look more professional - black cardis with black tops look too casual
I know it's a fairly simple, basic dress...but I've had it since I was 16 (now 25) so need some confirmation - does it still work/ look aight on me? Or time to move on?

blaze Goodbye old dress. We had some great times, but it's now 2010.
