damngirl you'd have to jazz it up with accessories (and i'd wear diff tights - patterned/lace/nude). or you could easily find another black dress with more detail or a fun/flowy cut so accessorizing wouldn't be as much of a worry.

Is this dress worth keeping?
DKNY dress made from 100% silk. Has three layers of ruffles and differnt colored dark circles all over the dress. If so, should there be any tailoring done and what kind?

Carliebianca Nip it in in the waist, and/or add a little belt. Accessorize with textured tights, color in the shoes, or different tops. This could be very versatile and cute.

malnatik9 I'd say the tan dress is more casual, but the red looks better on you. The tan is a good shape & fit, but the color is too pale on you. A dark jacket would solve that, but otherwise, I'd go with the red.
