it's cute for an LBD, but to casual for prom. for prom even if you go short you want lots of bling and sparkle and "WOW."

love the straps, but not digging how the skirt of the dress is pleated

modcloth = amazing

basically anything... this necklace is totes adorbs! and if you want to shorten it a little just tie a big knot at the back; the chain is thick enough that it shouldn't get tangled.

not a fan of the bolero, but in all this look is pretty badass!

the shirt is too short to wear with leggings as pants, but other than that it's cool, in a weird sort of way

well, with the tag still on them, clearly you haven't gotten any wear out of them! for online stores, modcloth is really good.

this is fine, but the tights are terrible. They're too thick and too shiny; they look more like figure skating tights. try sheer nude nylons. And if you tuck the sweater into the skirt, your legs will look longer

the boots and the dress don't work together, and the hair makes it look even messier- the way it's these loose curls at the bottom but is flat at the top.

you have a very classically pretty face, and the red lips work really well with that :)

that may not have sounded like a compliment, but it was intended to be. I always imagined Max to have nice eyes.

I don't know if you've read The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak, but one of the characters (Max Vandenburg) is described as having swampy/murky eyes, and yours are the color I always imagined his would be.

LOOOOVE. modcloth is the best. they send a tape measure with the purchase so if it doesn't fit, you can take your measurements and send them back with the dress so they can get you the right size

not a fan of the print... the general rule for ruffles is add them where you want extra volume. tanks like this, with all over ruffles, look best on super skinny people. you fall into that category :)
