Green sweater, skinny jeans, dark brown riding boots. What do you think?
Sorry for the blurry pics, it's tiered lace, olive green with a gold sheen. What do you think?
Went out iceskating last night. What do you think?
Briiz [SGTC!] ha completely disagree there bunnylove, the sweater makes your legs look extra long, and your torso just right. this sweater is perfect for this outfit, it completes it.
Carliebianca I l ike it a lot! Very cute.
Going out on a Saturday night.
FoodiewithFashion The bottom part is cute, but the top ruins it. It seems way too casual and plain Jane.
backsteinhaus You are the adorable girl next door. Really great natural beauty- just enough details in the ensemble to make it interesting- bravo.
I bought this in Guatemala because it was handmade and rather pretty. But I never wear it. Is it a bit much? Do you prefer it with the belt or without? Should I wear it or save it for Halloween maybe?
CaptainAnastasia love it
KCasanova it looks better with the belt, it gives you a waist and thins you out. without a belt the shirt just hangs ackwardly. Super cute shirt though!
My mom brought this back from France for me. I don't know what it is with my mom & huge sacks of fabric, lol, but she said all the French girls were wearing them. So, does the belt save it? Or are the color & shape really as bad on me as I think?
KCasanova definitely wear this one with the belt, also i would add a long necklace!
embecks the belt helps a lot.
My mom brought this back from Amsterdam for me. I love the concept, but I kind of feel like I'm drowning in a sea of black. Unfortunately, it's too short to wear as a dress. What do you think? How should I wear it? Should I wear it at all?
KCasanova looks great, i would try wearing a different color of legging so you dont feel like you're drowning in black. Or you can accessorize with a bright colored scarf/accessories
doxie super cute :)
Can I make it work with the skinny jeans, or does it still just swallow up my figure? (Please forgive the messy hair!)
This was my favorite top from like 2002-2005; I wore it all the time. Haven't worn it much since then, but I can't let it go, lol! Is there anything redeemable about it? Maybe if I chop the froofy sleeves off?

Ok, I think this is adorable, but I never wear it because obviously if it's cold enough for a turtleneck, I'm going to want my arms covered. Any suggestions for times/ways/places to wear it? Or should I just let it go?
vtgwallflower i like the top- especially with your hair pulled back like that. really chic.
bex This is a great top and so versatile. I agree with previous poster -- pair with pencil skirt.
Please ignore the shorts; I only really wear them around the house. Is the top looking a little tight through the bust?

leahxlittle keep
sammybammy97 Keep! with the right jewlery and or accesories it could work!!
(Please ignore the shorts!) My mom bought me this top a couple of years ago. Kinda cute from the front, but it's really baggy from the side. Does the belt save it, or should I just let it go?

bethiem i like it! pair it with a pair of tight white jeans
lizzycakesagain No belt.
Pls ignore top & shoes; I know it's a winter skirt! Found thrifting, love shape & fit. Don't wear brown much (don't even own brown shoes or boots); last winter wore it w/ black turtleneck & black boots. Think that’s ok? Or what should I wear it ...
♥ 9 Love it
lovebug24 cute minus the shoes
Aisha Stunning Skirt. Try more of a heel on those shoes and add some earrings..
Please ignore the top and shoes; I know it's a winter skirt! I've had this wool skirt since 2003ish. I'm in love with the colors & pattern & lace edge, but I'm not loving the fit & flare shape anymore! Can anything be done? By a tailor perhaps?

PorkyLardMcFats The skirt is fabulous, but perhaps a bit long on you? I think it might look better if it were an inch shorter...
missm It seems pretty classic to me. Keep it simple with black pumps and a nice fitted sweater.
Wearing it at the natural waist requires tailoring. All other looks can be achieved without tailoring. Is it worth it to get it tailored? Please comment!
Neelie like A...more mature. but those shoes/sandals are a NO GO!
blondeinboots if you wear it high with the belt, there's enough interest for you to lose the necklace. personally i like B because it makes your torso look so long, but both are nice :)
100% linen skirt my mom bought me in Italy, waistline sits just below the belly button. Get it tailored to wear at natural waist? (It's several inches too big without tailoring.) Would tailoring be worth it?

thatsgotsoul get it tailored to fit at your waist. it's relatively cheap, it'll be a lot more versatile (i.e. you can wear it to work) and you won't have to wear belts.
shoephoria I love everything except for the shoes. They are too formal for everything else, and the ankle straps create a horizontal line in addition to the one created by the belt. With a skirt of that length you want to lengthen your legs. Red heels!
100% linen skirt my mom bought me in Italy, waistline sits just below the belly button. Wear it pulled up to empire waist with belt?

missm Too much bulk around your middle (the skirt, not you!). Either of the other two ways was nice.
bethiem the necklace is wrong. Try a different shirt. the belt doesn't work
100% linen skirt my mom bought me in Italy. Waistline sits just below the belly button. Wear it with tucked and belted top?

FLavan This is the best look - it suits your shape.
Olivia Childs this is the best look out of all the combinations
100% linen skirt my mom bought me in Italy, waistline sits just below the belly button. Wear it with top untucked?

bethiem MUCH BETTER!!
shoephoria This works too, and the shoes make a little more sense without the belt.
