Both look so pretty that either one would work but if I had to pick one, I would pick the gold because it would look flashier.

Blue. It's much more figure flattering on you, & you'll never be able to wear that gold one again. The blue could be worn to other functions, & still be appropriate. It's also just pretty.

Both are very pretty, so you won't go wrong with either dress. I like the gold one a bit more just because it is flashier and for the prom, you want to stand out, not blend in.
