How are these for wearing with black slacks to ...

I'm looking for something simple and comfortable to wear with black slacks when meeting patients. What do you think of these? In the interest os saving space I grouped the clogs with these. How do they compare?

Yep. If that's the purpose, then these are fitted fine.

Neither of these is attractive, and the clogs ... Clogs to me are like Hawaiian shirts, i don't understand how they caught on anywhere but where they came from. Ditto @meredithva7, I have some very stylish Anne Klein patent leather loafers.

Hate em both. Any chance that a cute pair of flats would work for you? Maybe a ballerina style or a little exotic print to add some pazazz to your outfit?

@sarahliu I like your advice. I'm having trouble visualizing a comfortable pump to wear with slacks. Do you have any suggestions?

i'm sorry, but to be honest i thought that these shoes were for men at first. i think you can find some comfortable pumps or other nicer shoes. they would flatter your outfits more and help you make a better first impression :)

I much prefer the clogs. The others are too old-ladyish.

Part of being successful in patient contact is to instill confidence and peace of mind in them. That means looking put together. Pumps do not have to be uncomfortable. I found a great wedge pump at Macy's that I wear 12+ hrs at a time.

@txwalker1 Thanks! I'd never seen Josef Siebel before. They look like a great comfort shoe option.

i realize you want to cover your socks... i'm not sure you'll find a shoe that will be widely approved of on this site but here are a couple options that look comfy and somewhat stylish: http://www.zappos.com/product/7681383/color/130467

I think these are fine & they look like they'll stand up to wear & tear on the clinic.

Ugh. Those look like senior citizen shoes. Why not just wear flats?

this are terribly ugly. if you are looking for something to wear with black slacks (meaning you're not going to be in contact with patients?), try some classic black pumps. try zappos.com
