It is for my four year anniversary with my boyfriend and I was wondering if this was too much for a romantic dinner and going to the bars afterward for dancing . I was going to accessories it with the O.D. Green YSL shoes...whatdaya think?
It's a beautiful dress and very befitting for a romantic setting. This would work if a. you are very slim and b. the dress hits midthigh on you. any longer I'm afraid it may look too formal for bars afterwards.
Dresses like these look cool on a model on a runway, but real life is trickier and less controlled. Besides having her height and body, you've got to have swagger of the sort that'll make you look good wearing actual bandages. Tread carefully.
It most certainly does! I love it! But I think maybe some white shoes with some gold points-similar to the one's you have now would be awesome! Try some golden hoop earrings and a golden necklace with a diamond design to place near your collar bone:D
If you have the body of a supermodel, I think it can work.
One of the users on this site posted herself in this dress, in red, and I thought it looked great on her. http://www.fashism.com/look/view/2607
I think when you're wearing something this fabulous, you create your own atmosphere. If you have the body and the confidence, it won't be too much, other people will look at you and think they didn't do enough.
This would depend on the frame it is on ... it is a splendid dress very trendy and would be perfect for an anniversary dinner/night out .. but would be way to much for the bar unless the bar is also trendy.
Very nice!
ETA- that was lame. I can do better:
Pretty dress. Nice and romantic. Keep any jewelry simple and wear hair down to boost the romantic factor.
