I have an interview tomorrow w/ an environmental nonprofit. How does this look? Also feel free to suggest hair ideas. Need to drive 45 min in a car w/ no AC so need to stay cool.
If your hair can hold curls, I say go with the side pony. Just don't have a visible pony tail holder, wrap a piece of hair around the base of the pony. Otherwise, nice look!
Def add a jacket, preferable cropped. If you don't have one, I'd change the shirt to something more formal--like a light sweater or S/S blouse. A tee is too casual alone. I'd say do heels, but the pants might be too short with them.
If you've seen how the employees dress at this workplace, try to match their style, but go up a notch for the interview. This is great, if most others wear jeans and T's. If they all wear suits, then this will not do. Know your audience.
If I were you I would drive with a loose fitting t-shirt and then change into this when you get there. No one wants pit stains at an interview! This is good.
Do you have a jacket that matches the pants? Just the shirt (untucked) and the pants are a bit unprofessional. You should always err on the side of overdressing when it comes to a first interview. Second interviews are another story.
These are good interview pants. If the pants are gray, I would go with a white top and a black blazer or cardigan (that you can remove for the car ride). I don't like the necklace or the casual top with this.
