    Thanks for the advice! I knew something didn't really fit, but I didn't get what. Next time I'll leave em out or wear an other dress :)

    (I don't think knee highs are trashy, I just think that when paired with dark dresses they do kind of make a strange gap that can seem choppy. I love high socks!)

    If you love knee socks but have a dark dress that chops on the legs, you can wear knee socks over black tights, it gives a layered look while still keeping the charm of thigh highs!

    Sorry, no. These over the knee socks are showing up a lot lately, and they are not good on anyone. They chop up the legs, & look kinda trashy. I'd skip this trend, & stick with the black tights, for a better look.
