Jandals/Flip flops should not be worn with anything that has the slightest Winter/Autumn element to it. It just makes you look like you're in denial to the seasons around you, also those boots are not hooker boots, they look stunning with this outfit.
I would simply like to stand up for all of us who young college students who would never wear flip-flops as "formal" or really at all other than the beach.
There is nothing hookerish about these boots--they're fantastic and tasteful. Flip flops are *casual* and meant for the beach. They would look really inappropriate w. this. You look great :)
AUDRA B. - Yes, the filter would be perfect. I had thought if we ignored future "formal flip flop" comments weeks ago, they would stop. But I've noticed that didn't work. So, obviously, the "young students" seriously thought those were logical ideas...
The coat and tight pants accentuate your thin figure, making you look tall. The boots, ruin your long legged, tall figure. I have to agree with what others said, flip flops or sandals would look much better.
I love your coat! Also please don't wear flip flops, that would ruin this outfit so much and February isn't spring. It's winter, congrats on dressing appropriately. I love it :)
This is amazing! I wouldn't change a thing- @A1nLA, well said, I think there needs to be an age restriction now on this sight or at least a flip flop filter!
Outfit is way too busy with hand bag, scarf and coffee cup. Hooker boots also scream of desperation. To look better, get rid of the hand bag, coffee cup, scarf and hooker boots.
