    i am going with a few of my girlfriends & my gay friend all of us dateless. i wanted to have more fun with this prom since im going to another w/ a date and keeping it more classic there.

    This is a bit too much. The dress is already gorgeous, so why add something to compete for attention? Also, isn't he likely to bring you a corsage? If so, this will further compete. I'd skip the ring and bangles.

    I love the bangles, but not so much the ring. If you really like it, I'd wear it on your other hand so that it somewhat balances out the jewelry, but I think you can just go without it.
